Feeding a team well is one of the easiest ways to make a work event feel like a reward rather than an obligation. A food truck does that better than a tray of sandwiches: the food is cooked fresh on the spot, people gather around it, and nobody has to clean up a kitchen afterwards. Here is a simple guide to planning food truck catering for your next corporate event.
Why a food truck works for corporate events
Corporate functions often happen in places that were never designed for catering: car parks, warehouses, office forecourts, worksites and parks. A self-contained food truck brings its own kitchen, so all you need is a safe, level spot for it to park.
Our custom-built trailers are made for high output with a small footprint, which means we serve a crowd fast. That matters when your staff only have a set break, or when you want everyone fed before the speeches start.

What to have ready before you ask for a quote
You don’t need everything locked in, but these details help us give you an accurate quote quickly:
- Date and service time. When do you want food served, and for how long?
- Location. The address, plus where the truck can park. Let us know about any access limits, such as low clearances, security gates or a set-up window.
- Guest numbers. A rough number is fine to start with.
- Type of event. A quick staff lunch and an all-afternoon client event are run quite differently.
- Dietary needs. Our sausages are gluten free and made from 100% Australian free range pork. Tell us about any other requirements and we’ll work with you.
How much does corporate food truck catering cost?
Every event is quoted on guest numbers, location and timing. Our minimum spend is $1,200 Monday to Friday and $2,000 on Saturday and Sunday. For most workplaces, a weekday lunch is the simplest and best-value option.
What’s on the menu?
We keep it simple and do it well: award-winning German sausages cooked over an open flame, served in a fresh bun with onions, sauerkraut and a big range of condiments. Choose from the Original Bratwurst, Spicy Bratwurst, Cheese Kransky, the Double Banger and Currywurst. See the full menu.
Large teams and multiple sites
Feeding hundreds of people? We can send more than one truck. We have been serving at some of Australia’s biggest events since 2004, including AFL and NRL games, the Formula 1 and New Year’s Eve at the Sydney Opera House, so a busy staff day is well within our comfort zone.
Where we cater
We cater corporate events in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and the Fraser Coast, Moreton Bay, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and the NSW South Coast and Melbourne.
